There has been an awakening.

The Holiday season has Black Friday going for it, with some great deals on just about everything, but this year Star Wars fans have another shopping holiday to stay up late for.

At 12:01 a.m. on September 4th, fans and toy enthusiasts alike will be ushered in to Walmart stores, Toys-R-Us locations, Targets, and Disney Stores across the world as Force Friday begins with a “schwoom, schwoom.”

Force Friday drops little more than three months prior to the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and beckons fans of the franchise to stores for their first chance to purchase the new toys and collectibles accompanying the film.

Such items include redesigned and repackaged favorites, new build-your-own lightsabers, and my personal favorite, new LEGO sets!
