Audiences were hit hard Wednesday morning with an onslaught of high-res images from two of the most popular fandoms in the galaxy.

First off, EW released several still photos from the set of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Not to be outdone. Disney dropped a huge character poster-bomb shortly after, featuring beautiful shots of several of our Star Wars heroes.

The characters are presented with what looks like their weapon of choice (technology skills for Leia?), in a super closeup shot as a little taste of what’s to come.

I could just look at these all day, couldn’t you? We’re not far now from the December 18th premiere date, and hopefully we’ll see a trail of surprises like these along the way.
