Who is Rey?

She is a scavenger on the desert planet of Jakku when we first meet her, and by the time The Force Awakens reaches it’s final scene, we see that Rey has developed into a force-filled Jedi-in-training.

But, where did she come from? Who are her parents, and why did the Force choose her?

Only time will tell, but we know enough about Rey to understand that she is brave, resourceful, compassionate, and determined to make a difference.

I’ve been Rey-obsessed since our first introduction to her, and so appreciate how she was depicted in the film. I’m happy to share this girl power playlist in honor of my favorite new Jedi.
